Selina Dorcas BLOMFIELD was born in Wortwell, Norfolk, on 2 April 1815 and was baptised on 3 May 1815 at the Independent Chapel in Denton.
Selina applied for a marriage licence to wed Alexander MACDONALD at Norwich, Norfolk, on 8 October 1835.
She married Alexander MACDONALD, in Topcroft, Norfolk, on 9 October 1835.
Selina and her husband Alexander left England on the 7 November 1835 on the Dunottar Castle, first arriving in Rarotonga in May 1836, then Samoa in April 1837, before settling at Safune in August.
Selina died on 26 April 1880 at Vincent St in Auckland, Auckland, at age 65 from ‘decay of nature. She was buried on 28 April 1880 at the Symonds St Cemetery in Grafton.
